This year, Home for the Holidays Party is going to the dogs! ElderDogs, that is!

We're pleased to share that a portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to ElderDog Canada, and we encourage you to support this fantastic volunteer-driven organization as well!

ElderDog Canada is a national, registered charitable organization dedicated to ageing people, ageing dogs, and the important connection they enjoy. Their purpose is to:

• Assist and support older adults in the care and well-being of their canine companions;
• Promote the welfare of older dogs whose lives have been disrupted due to illness, relocation or death of a human companion;
• Educate about the human-animal bond in general and the significant role of companion animals in the health and well-being of seniors;
• Support and conduct research into the human-animal bond with a focus on seniors and canine companionship.

ElderDog is a charity that supports senior adults and their dogs.  Volunteers help aging owners with dog-related tasks (e.g. walking dogs, taking dogs to appointments) enabling the senior and dog to stay together in their home.

​Another major component of ElderDog is rehoming dogs who have lost their human companions, and raising funds to continue their work, which is 100% volunteer based.
